POSITION TITLE: Custodian

FLSA CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt

REPORTS TO: Facilities Manager

POSITONS SUPERVISED: NA

POSITION OVERVIEW: The Custodian position will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining MHA facilities.

ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBLITIES:

  1. Clean offices, entryway, restrooms, kitchen, laundry area and common area. This will include dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, using cleansing agents and cleaning windows
  2. Restock restrooms
  3. Other duties as assigned
OTHER POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Operate in compliance with personnel policies and practices.
  2. Promote the mission and values of the Mental Health Association.
  3. Attending MHA staff meetings and training as required.
  4. Completing required timesheets, mileage sheets, expense sheets and other agency required paperwork accurately and on-time.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Position expected to possess a basic knowledge of cleaning and janitorial skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Standing
  • Bending/Stooping
  • Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
