Position Summary

Our client has an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who is motivated to drive transformational change within a world-class, global organization. This role supports Pricing Operations and will contribute to operational excellence, pricing strategy, compliance, and business transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, strategic thinking, and analytical skills, along with the ability to collaborate with key stakeholders, manage complex initiatives, and communicate insights effectively. This role applies project management principles, data analytics, and FAR compliance expertise to support pricing growth, margin expansion, and operational efficiency.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 2.5+ years of direct government/defense experience
    OR
    5+ years of directly related experience in pricing, finance, accounting, supply chain, or business analysis
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a Business-related discipline
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of government purchasing rules and regulations (FAR)
Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Strategic Insight
  • Identify relevant data sources within business systems; extract, standardize, and analyze data to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Clearly communicate findings and recommendations to leadership
Pricing Strategy & Financial Analysis
  • Drive top-line and bottom-line growth through sound business and financial analysis that balances profitability and customer value
  • Support pricing growth initiatives including productivity improvements, margin expansion, and pricing impact analysis
Project Leadership & Business Transformation
  • Translate strategic plans into actionable deliverables and lead execution to meet commitments and schedules
  • Lead global, cross-functional teams to scope, model, resource, and execute strategic business transformation initiatives
  • Apply project management best practices to process automation, tool deployment, and operational excellence
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
  • Engage stakeholders to align on priorities, decisions, and outcomes
  • Communicate complex information clearly and concisely, tailoring messaging to different audiences
Compliance & Proposal Support
  • Contribute to business cases, competitive assessments, risk mitigation, and negotiation strategies
  • Prepare FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 15 (TINA-compliant) proposals for U.S. Government agencies and prime contractors
  • Support proposals for non-U.S. Government customers as needed
Basic Qualifications
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Ability and desire to learn, grow, and take initiative
  • U.S. Citizen only (no dual citizenship permitted)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with SAP preferred
Preferred / Additional Qualifications
  • PMP, Supply Chain, or Six Sigma certification
  • Experience in cost accounting, pricing, or marketing within a government/defense environment
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization and coordinating across internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with a results-oriented, deadline-driven mindset
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and process improvement capability
  • Ability to integrate pricing tactics with broader product and marketing strategies
  • Intermediate proficiency with Power BI, Siebel databases, SAP, Business Intelligence (BI), and Business Objects (BO)

1. FAR Compliance & Government Experience
Can you describe your experience preparing proposals compliant with FAR regulations (FAR Part 12 or FAR Part 15)? What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?
Purpose: Validates hands-on government compliance expertise.

2. Data Analysis & Strategic Decision-Making
Tell me about a time you analyzed complex pricing or financial data to identify risks or opportunities. How did your analysis influence business decisions?
Purpose: Assesses analytical thinking and business impact.

3. Stakeholder Collaboration & Process Improvement
This role requires working cross-functionally and driving improvements. Can you share an example where you led a project that improved pricing operations or compliance?
Purpose: Evaluates leadership, collaboration, and continuous improvement mindset.
