Role: Functional Lead - Workday HCM
Location: San Ramon, CA (Onsite day 1)
Duration: Longterm Contract
Role Summary: Looking for a Functional Lead to drive the strategy and optimization of Workday HCM suite.
Key Responsibilities:
Functional Strategy: Act as the lead solution architect for Core HCM, Compensation, and Absence/Time Tracking, ensuring cross-module data integrity.
Governance: Establish governance policies for business process configuration, security roles, and data auditing.
Release Management: Lead the analysis and adoption of bi-annual Workday feature releases, coordinating testing and change management.
Reporting Strategy: Oversee the creation of executive-level dashboards and analytics strategies.
Key Requirements:
Certification: Workday HCM Core Certification is strongly preferred.
Domain Expertise: Deep configuration knowledge of Core HCM plus 2 additional functional areas (e.g., Advanced Comp, Talent, or Benefits).
Leadership: Experience leading functional projects and managing stakeholder expectations at the Director/VP level.
Onsite Presence: Commitment to a 5-day onsite work week in the Bay Area.
