Specific activities often include scheduling, staffing recommendations, training, quality and inventory control, and equipment purchase and maintenance. In addition, they also have the responsibility of maintaining consistency and communication between their department and other inter-related departments within the company in order to increase productivity and reduce downtime. Must report to Assembly Manager on recovery dates that are missed and offer suggestions and ideas to keep schedule on time. Must be flexible in their schedule.
