The Shipping and Receiving Clerk plays a key role in ensuring that materials, goods, and supplies move efficiently in and out of a busy warehouse environment. This position focuses on safely operating forklifts to handle heavy metal materials, accurately preparing and processing shipments, receiving and measuring incoming materials, and maintaining organized inventory and documentation. You will spend most of your time on a forklift, with additional responsibilities in loading, picking, packing, and basic data entry. Responsibilities. Load and unload material from delivery trucks in a safe and efficient manner. Prepare items for shipment according to customer specifications, quality requirements, and delivery dates. Prepare and process shipping paperwork for both domestic and export orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
