The Quality Inspector will be responsible for coordinating quality activities, primarily focusing on assembly inspections. This role involves root cause-corrective actions (RCCA), First Article Inspections (FA - Is), Non-Conformance Reports (NC - Rs), and addressing supplier issues. The inspector will engage in internal customer contact within a cross-functional work environment. Responsibilities. Conduct daily assembly inspections to ensure products meet type design specifications. Facilitate communication and feedback between incoming and downstream internal customers. Coordinate containment of stock and Work In Progress (WIP) through quality investigations as needed. Attend Quality Review Board (QRB) meetings to support Quality Engineers (QE) and address internal issues. Provide real-time shop floor support for quality-based investigations and resolutions.
