Assemble and solder actutator parts for aerospace products. J-STD certification is a plus.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work will include but not limited to: assembly, soldering, inspection, packaging, process improvements and training as well as other relatedactivities
Ability to perform soldering on Boards. J-STD certiifcation is a plus
Ability to learn the use of bench top equipment, test equipment, hands tools and computers
Ability to assemble small mechanical products - springs, gears, mechanical subassemblies
Ability to assembly and test electro and electro-mechanical products
Participate in meetings to determine work priorities
Commitment to customer and business focus in areas such as quality of work, attendance and productivity, overtime may be required
Adherence to company policies such as safety, respect for others, integrity and workplace rules
Willingness to attend additional training, either OJT or off-site training recommended by the management staff to further personal development
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED
Two (2) years prior experience in Production and/or Manufacturing. Experience in the Manufacturing of Aircraft Instruments or Electronics desired
Blueprint and work instruction reading experience required
Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-marking, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs
